I founded Octavius RE Ltd in April 2016 because I wanted to offer independent advice to end users or installers to ensure that the AV systems they were installing were commercially relevant. I call myself an Audio Visual Architect because I aim to help people build good systems by providing them with the knowledge and guidance they need at the design and budgeting stage.

For the last ten years I have had a fantastic experience establishing the Installations and Site support business in London, as a satellite of Midlands based SSE Audio Group. It started as an acquisition of a small business in 2009, called Tarsin Entertainment with 3 staff, specialising in audio for clubs and bars; this has developed into a business that employs 15 staff, covers audio, video and lighting and services a huge range of clients from small, independent bar owners to global art auctioneers.

Prior to that I spent almost two years working as a Technical Production Manager for Corporate Events. But I got my spurs working in Hire Sales again with SSE Audio Group, based up in Birmingham at the time. I started out as a Sales Assistant to the Hire Director but quickly established my own client base and was eventually appointed a company Director.
